Aussie Rules Schools

Aussie Rules Schools is the name of the international junior program that was created by Aussie Rules International in early 2005.

London was chosen as the place to launch the new program. As a result a new division of ARI, Aussie Rules UK, was established in April 2005.

Two of the major aims in introducing Aussie Rules to the UK are to use its novelty appeal and focus on participation and fun to:

1. help combat the growing rise of obesity amongst children in the UK ('Get a Kick out of Life!'), and

2. help reduce the number of underprivileged children who get into trouble with the law ('Kids in Sport are not in Court')

The program has been a huge success and the long-term vision of ARI is to roll out the program to other countries.
