The 2008 EU Cup was held on the weekend of 11/12 October in Prague, Czech Republic.
Twelve teams competed during a fantastic day of football, with England defeating tournament newcomers (and crowd favourites!) Croatia in the final.
It was a great success and plans are already underway for the next Cup in 2009.

Wales, a strong rugby football nation is a very new country to Aussie Rules. Aussie Rules Wales formed in September 2005 and has expanded to several senior teams. The national team, Red Dragons, debuted in November 2007 to play against England.
Young Englishman Will Thursfield entered the AFL as a rookie following an outstanding junior career since arriving in Australia and is now held by many to be one of the best young defenders in Aussie Rules.
