Conference

The Aussie Rules Europe/AFL Europe conference was held in Zagreb on Sunday October 4th (10am-5pm) and Monday 5th (9am-2pm).

The conference was held in the Hypo Expo Centre in Zagreb.

The agenda included:

• Reports from each league
• A united European Body – discussion about its need, benefits, potential, affiliation etc
• Moving forward – developing a coordinated strategy that has benefits for everyone moving forward

It was agreed at the Conference that a new European body would be formed and that it would approach the AFL for its support as a partner.
