Nauru, USA and Ireland convincing winners

NAURU ran out convincing 47-point winners against Great Britain at Ransford Oval on Friday, displaying plenty of pace and skills in a good quality game.

Great Britain came back in the third term, kicking their first two goals of the game, but Nauru kicked away in the last quarter well led by best on ground Torio Mwareow and vice captain Agir Amwano.

The final scores were Nauru 10.5 (65) to Great Britain 2.6 (18).

In other games, USA ran out easy winners over China, 16.18 (114) to 0.0 (0), and an inaccurate Ireland 13.20 (98) defeated Finland 0.0 (0).
