Four Mossies in world team

FOUR Papua New Guinea Mosquitoes were named in the 2008 AFL International World Cup team at a gala function last Thursday night in Melbourne.

Donald Barry, Joseph Ila, Stanis Susuve and veteran of three international cups Overa Gibson were selected in the world cup side that included 12 players from the 16 countries that participated in the international cup tournament.

For Gibson it was his second time to be named in the world cup side after being selected in the 2002 world cup side.

"It’s an honour to be selected again in the world team and what a way to finish off my last international cup," Gibson said.
