Teams

 

The Australian Football Multicultural Cup is open to teams from Melbourne's multicultural communities.

 

There are two simple criteria for player eligibility - that a player was born in the country or has a parent or grandparent born in the country for which he wants to play. Players must also be at least 16 years of age in order to participate.

 

Each team will represent their country of origin and will play in their national colours. Further, the national anthems of the competing teams will be played prior to the start of each match.

 

The following 8 teams participated in the 2005 Multicultural Cup:

6. Italy
