Venue
The 2005 Multicultural Cup was held at Optus Oval in Carlton.
The last suburban ground with a 35,000 capacity, Optus Oval has been Carlton's home venue, training base and administrative headquarters since the club entered the competition in 1897.
Optus Oval is situated in Princes Park, adjoining the Melbourne General Cemetery and Melbourne University, about 3 kilometres north of the Melbourne CBD. It’s reasonably well-served by public transport from the city.
