Turku Dockers

Turku's very own Aussie Rules team, The Dockers, started in late 2008, when Grant Siermans and Craig Primmer,who had previously played in the Finland Icebreakers, decided to found a team in Turku. The team got off to a flying start, and in August 2009, Turku Dockers won the first ever grand final in the Finland AFL.
