France Coqs
The first French national Aussie Rules team appeared at the 2005 EU Cup in London. They played in jumpers that were donated by the Geelong Football Club.
France also competed at the 2007 EU Cup (Hamburg), 2008 EU Cup (Prague) and 2009 EU Cup (Samobor).
A long-term goal of the French is to appear at the Australian Football International Cup.
The team is known as the Coqs and is named after the Gallic rooster, the French national emblem.
