Iceland

If you would like to play Aussie Rules in Iceland please contact either Fridgeir Torfi Asgeirsson or Eyjolfur Bjarni Sigurjonsson.

Fridgeir Torfi Asgeirsson started Aussie Rules in Iceland on 20 May 2009 after himself having played in the Danish League (DAFL) for 3 season while studying in Denmark. Originally the trainings took place in a local park but after a decision was made to participate in the EU Cup, proper training grounds were found and the group has since grown into a 3 team league with around 50 players (as of July 2010).

Andspyrnusamband Islands (the Icelandic Australian Football League) governs footy in Iceland.
