Lebanon

Australian football in Lebanon was first played in 2004 in an attempt to introduce the sport into that country by members of the Lebanese community resident in Melbourne. This competition (based in Tripoli) has since gone into recess.

A team representing the Melbourne Lebanese community also competed at the Australian Football Multicultural Cup in both 2004 and 2005, as well as the Harmony Cup in 2010.

Players from a Lebanese background that have played in the AFL include Bachar Houli (Essendon), Milham Hanna (Carlton), Robin Nahas (Richmond) and Luke Jarjoura (Sydney).
