Aussie Rules USA

Aussie Rules USA has been established to promote and develop Australian football in the States. Its focus will be on juniors and modified versions of the game, such as 9-a-side and Touch Aussie Rules.

This will remove the burden from existing hard working volunteers in the USA who have little or no time to devote to game development.

The objectives of ARUSA include:

• conducting coaching sessions in USA schools
• establishing and conducting school leagues and competitions
• establishing and conducting Auskick centres
• establishing vibrant and sustainable pathways from junior programs into senior USAFL clubs
• establishing a national junior USA team to provide a carrot for children taking up the sport
• creating and promoting awareness of the USAFL and its clubs

The above will be possible with the appointment of full-time Development Managers. Having full-time personnel is essential if the game is to realise its true potential in the USA.
