Essendon Bombers
The Essendon Football Club, nicknamed The Bombers, are one of Victoria's most successful clubs with 16 premierships.
Formed in 1871 as a junior club and as a senior club in 1872, it is headquartered at the Essendon Recreation Reserve (commonly known as Windy Hill) in the Melbourne suburb of Essendon. The Bombers play their home matches at the Telstra Dome and the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
