Kangaroos
The North Melbourne Football Club, nicknamed The Kangaroos, is is based at the Arden Street Oval in the inner Melbourne suburb of North Melbourne, but plays its home matches at the Telstra Dome and occasionally, the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
From 2007 the Kangaroos commenced playing 3 home games at Carrara on the Gold Coast, Queensland. They were offered a deal to relocate to the Gold Coast permanently, but chose to remain in Melbourne. The club motto is Victoria Amat Curam, Latin for "Victory Demands Dedication".
