Wellington City Saints

The Wellington City Saints play in the WAFL in red, white and black strips. The Saints have been playing in the W.A.F.L since 2000 and have won the WAFL premiership twice, firstly in 2004 and then again in 2006. Aussie rules football in New Zealand is currently a minority sport and is played in the summer to avoid clashing with the rugby season. There are currently over 80 players in the Wellington AFL and they can be seen battling out for the illustrious WAFL premiership cup at Elsdon Park in Titahi Bay on Sundays.
